Cricket Shastra

We are a bunch of Cricket enthusiasts.

Our cricketing journey started by watching it on a black and white television, playing it in a small room with a plastic ball (where our elder brothers whipped us), progressed to watching Cricket on a colour television, playing gully cricket with tennis balls, breaking window panes (still our elder brothers whipped us), moved to playing cricket with a proper cricket ball wearing all the guards and still coming back hurt, and these days ardently following the action on Internet (I think I’ll call in sick during the next match and watch it “live” instead of catching the late night highlights).

Life has changed, but not the love for cricket. This is where we would collate our thoughts on Cricket and all action surrounding it.

And to anyone who asks, “Yes, we all think Sachin is the best thing that has happened to cricket, and to us – he is God!”
